Where It All Began
Fatboy’s story started with the Original bean bag, conceptualised by Finnish interior architect Jukka Setälä while listening to the music of Fatboy Slim, ultimately inspiring the name Fatboy. A Dutch entrepreneur then saw the design’s in 2003 and acquired the exclusive selling rights. Since then, Fatboy grew and expanded into a full collection of playful, iconic designs that continue to reshape everyday living.

Most Fatboy covers can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Removable covers can go in the washing machine on a gentle, low-temperature cycle. Check the care label for your specific model first, since fabrics like velvet or suede need different care to canvas or outdoor fabric.
Bean bags from the Outdoor range use weather- and water-resistant fabric with quick-drying filling, so they can stay outside through Dubai's heat and the occasional rain. Indoor-only models, such as the Original Slim or Junior, should be kept under cover.
Yes. Filling compresses with regular use, and most Fatboy bean bags can be topped up with a bean bag refill to bring back their original volume and support.
Original bean bag covers unzip from the inner lining, so you can fit a new cover in a different colour or fabric and refresh a bean bag without replacing the whole thing.
The batch number is usually printed on a label sewn into the inner lining or the underside of the product.
